Kuwait's business landscape is concentrated in three sectors: banking and financial services, oil and gas, and family-owned conglomerates. The family business structure means software decisions are often made centrally for multiple operating companies. Arabic support is not just a nice-to-have — Kuwaiti businesses frequently operate with bilingual teams but Arabic as the primary internal language.
Compliance: Kuwait has no VAT as of 2026. The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) regulates financial services software. The Personal Data Protection Law is in development but not yet in force. Ministry of Commerce regulations apply to business software used for commercial transactions. WPS (Wage Protection System) integration is required.
